Blick Bassy

Blick Bassy, now living in France, relates very personal, poetic stories through a mixture of traditional music from the music of his homeland, Cameroon, and the Mississippi blues. Well versed in the traditional customs of his people, the rites and the music, he sings in his mother tongue about the exodus from Cameroon, of the search for an own African history, his childhood and of love. In the process, his extraordinary voice is accompanied by Clément Petit, Johan Blanc and Arnaud de Casenove: groovy to contemplative, it is a sound that stands for a modern acoustic Africa.
