The Youngblood Brass Band are amongst the pioneers of the current brass sounds and blend brass with Hip-Hop for an innovative and unforgettable Live Show. Way back in the 90’s, David Henzie-Skogen had the musical vision to pep up the sound of the traditional New Orleans Brass Band and cross-fertilize it with Groove, Funk and Rap. Thus the Youngblood Brass Band was created in 1997 in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. It is one of those Brass Bands that has rescued the organic sound of orchestral horns from every village music band cliché and on stage delivers it in such an innovative and energetic manner that no one can resist it.
