Dutch World Stage and panels at inJazz 2018

Jazz is the foremost musical genre to engage in ground-breaking crossovers and World Music often proves to be jazz’s favourite partner. That’s why inJazz 2018 has opted for a special focus on World Music ensembles during the Friday night festival programme showing international quality, aspiration and allure. On Friday during the day, at the conference, two World panels focus on experts on export and intensifying cross-border traffic between Belgium and The Netherlands. inJazz World stems from the fruitful collaboration of inJazz and World Music Forum NL. The Dutch World Stage is commissioned by Dutch Performing Arts.

World Panels at inConference
inJazz, a catalyst for new developments, is bringing together the supply and demand sides of the Dutch jazz scene, so knowledge and experience can be shared and international relationships formed. The conference programme on Friday 29 June includes inspirational panels, workshops and presentations. Two panels are part of the collaboration with World Music Forum NL. Moderators Stan Rijven (panel Low lands, high results?) and Mijke van Wijk (panel Experts on export) will discuss several topics on crossing the border with international panellists. inJazz requires a small registration fee for attending the conference.
