Adam Bałdych & Helge Lien Trio «Brother» (ACT)

Release scheduled for August 25, several tracks’ preview available on the label’s website

Paweł Brodowski comments:
Following „Bridges” from 2015, this is the second outing on ACT of the Polish violin whiz and Norwegian piano trio, with a guest appearance by saxophonist Tore Brunborg. Dedicated by Adam Bałdych to his departed brother, the new recording – blending jazz, classical and folk music – is based on his original compositions, one exception being Leonard Cohen’s „Hallelujah”. Polish lyricism, Norwegian melacholy, empathy and musicianship of highest order. To be released on CD and vinyl by the end of August.
