Marseille Jazz des cinq continents accompanies the French trumpet player Erik Truffaz’s new creation. After having been welcomed as a writing residency at the Camargo Foundation in Cassis, Erik composed an unprecedented 80-minute piece, inspired by medieval music, Gregorian chants and the composer Pérotin in a contemporary way. This work is primarily designed for the voice and to do this, he appraoched Marie Laure Teissèdre who directs the Emelthée Choir from Lyon.
