Dear friends,
it is with deepest regret and profound sadness that we inform you of the passing of our friend and colleague Mehmet Ulug.
We shared with Mehmet the history of EJN since the very early years, decades.
Remembering the good times we shared together, as a board member of EJN he gave a great contribution to the European Jazz that we will never forget.
He was also a fantastic manager, a visionary and creative artistic director, always looking forward and far. With Pozitif and Babylon he created some unforgettable artistic projects which will pass into the annals of history of the contemporary music.
No more long meetings, jokes, dinners, fun and his contagious joy: we will miss you so much, dear Mehmet.
May he rest in peace.
