Jazz from Scotland

Description:

Jazz from Scotland aims to provide a voice for Scotland and Scottish jazz in the wider UK and International sectors as well as providing a relevant information portal and support network for our musicians. Formerly known as the Scottish Jazz Federation, from October 1st 2016, we officially changed our name to Jazz from Scotland.

Jazz from Scotland is a not for profit organisation run by a voluntary Board to develop programmes of work to benefit musicians and provide a central source of information and support for jazz in Scotland. We hold the annual Young Scottish Jazz musician of the Year, and recently ran a series of continual professional development workshops for musicians with industry experts and are developing an events calendar to help promote shows on our evolving new website.

We participate on the International scene at Jazzahead and Womex both sharing and gathering information to help our musicians.
