Four horns and a drum: that’s Le Rex from Bern! The ultimate blend of groove, harmony, fat horn melodies and a tendency for the unexpected. Following three albums, which were recorded in an adventurous manner in back yards, woods, and underpasses, the band went into Studio Mecanique in La Chaux-de-Fonds, in order to leave out all that Le Rex is not. “Escape of the Fire Ants” is an album full of new depths, optimism and good tones.
