He is probably the best Hang player worldwide: Manu Delago is famous for his virtuoso playing of the Swiss brass instrument, the Hang. The Grammy-nominated percussionist and composer was on tour with greats such as Björk, Olafur Arnalds and Anoushka Shankar. Now he is back with a new album and his biggest live show to date. «Circadian» (VÖ:13.9.2019) is an acoustic journey through the various sleep cycles – inspired by the human’s circadian rhythms and Delago's personal sleep deprivation during his international tours. It is however still the urban sonic worlds that inspire Manu Delago, yet he relates these in an ever increasing acoustic manner. One reason for this was the discovery of countless new percussion instruments from Vietnam, Russia, Turkey and Indonesia.
