The fourth edition of the Bruges inner city festival AMOK will take place from September 30 to October 9, 2022 in several locations throughout the historical city center of Bruges.
Highlights will be the AMOKATHON (Friday September 30, free entrance, several locations), a journey this year devoted to KAAP's in-house label W.E.R.F. records. Wednesday October 5 a double bill with schntzl (BE) and Craig Taborn (USA). Thursday October 6 Close Encounters: Alabaster DePlume (UK) and Chelsea Carmichael (UK) - co-presented by Cactus Bruges. Friday October 7 Koleka Putuma (SA) and Tumi Mogorosi's Group Theory: Black Music (SA).
Besides this music program, AMOK will present several new interdisciplinary creations, by PAARD., MARIS, Pak Yan Lau, Liesa van der Aa and Jelena Jureša.
