The 5th edition of Katowice JazzArt Festival starts and finishes with the strong Scandinavian kick off. The whole program, however, differs from subtle piano solo of Jack DeJohnette, ladino chants performed by Yasmin Levy and the whole range of greatest Polish jazz and cross-over projects such as RGG, Raphael Rogiński and Oleś Brothers. International Jazz Day and the final of JazzArt brings AUKSO in MOTION - finest accordion trio with AUKSO Chamber Orchestra.

Visual arts and its placement in Katowice's urbanscape are always the strong side of the festival: 3 documentaries, exhibition opening (Philip Paquet - the auhtor of visuals for "Graphicology" by Brussels Jazz Orchestra) special scenography and viral promo on major streets of Katowice will accompany the concerts, as well as the jazz writing workshops conducted by Andrey Henkin - the editor of The NYC Jazz Record.
