Below is a list of the artists I will be touring in 2014/2015 that can be available for your programming needs:
MORY KANTE ( www.morykante.com) – West African living legend - singer & musician (kora) – touring a show based on his "LA GUINEENNE" album (2012) – he is accompanied on stage by: 2 female backing vocals, balafon, keyboards, horn section (trumpet, saxophone & on occasion trombone), percussions (djembe & congas), guitar, bass & drums. Full traveling party 13 or 14 people. Mory Kante can also be available for solo and featured guest projects;
SALLY NYOLO ( www.sallynyolo.com) – Cameroon's finest female singer & musicians (mvet) – will have a new album "TIGER RUN" in 2014. In 2012 the song MOBOMO from her album "LA NUITE A FEBE" won the USA Songwriting Competition's World Music Award. She was also awarded the Medal of Valor, the highest honor an artist can receive in her country, by the President of Cameroon and her first instrument was placed in the national museum – she is accompanied on stage by: 2 female backing vocals, guitar, bass & drums. NOEMI WAYSFELD & BLIK ( www.noemiwaysfeld-blik.com) – Noemi Waysfeld (lead vocals) and her band Blik ("the gaze" in Yiddish) are looking towards the East, to the songs of the shtetl and the heart-wrenching ballads of Siberian prisoners. Though the imagery is laden with emotions and history, the band manages to steer clear of clichés, deconstructing Russian and Yiddish schmaltz and adding subtlety and intelligence into the mix. Though purists might be baffled, Noemi Waysfeld & Blik bring youthful originality to today's Eastern European musical styles, navigating between the mysticism of Krakauer, the iconoclasm of Yom and the theatricality of Ella Fitzgerald. She is accompanied on stage by: Guitar/Oud, Accordion & Double Bass. Full traveling party 6 people.

HAKIM (The Lion of Egypt) ( www.hakim-egypt.com) - Egypt's most loved chaabi (traditional music of the working-class) singer – accompanied on stage by: backing vocal, 2 keyboards, kawala, accordion, horn section (2 trumpets & trombone), percussions (2 duff, table, dohola), bass & drum. Full traveling party 17 people;
SPECIAL PROJECT:
CHICHI PERALTA ( www.chichiperalta.com.do) – the renowned Latin Grammy winning Merengue percussionist, singer, musician, arranger and producer from the Dominican Republic. – will tour in Europe mid-May through July 2014 with the following lineup: Chichi Peralta (lead vocals & percussion) accompanied by:: 2 backing vocals, keyboards, 3 horns (trumpet, sax & trombone), percussion, bass & drums. Full traveling party 16 people. All from the Dominican Republic!
