Dear EJN colleagues,
We're delighted to inform you about and possibly invite you to an ambitious collaboration that aims to blur the linguistic boundaries of Belgian jazz.
As you may know, Belgium is a complex country with a sharp language border, which sometimes makes it more difficult than necessary for our artists and music lovers to get to know each other. Thus we, the music platforms JazzLab and FAZZ and the export agencies WBM and VI.BE, started this collaboration, where we erase the language borders and show jazz 'from the other side' at a Flemish (Dutch speaking) and a Walloon (French speaking) festival.
We are joining forces to present at Leuven Jazz and the Gaume Jazz festival some of the best Belgian jazz from ‘the other side’ to a wide audience and some international professionals.
We’d love to invite some international guests to attend the performances of 4 bands that represent the Walloon jazz scene at the Leuven Jazz from March 19 to 21, 2025.
We're offering travel costs, 2 nights accommodation and evening meals in the heart of the city of Leuven, where you can discover the program below, in addition to the other concerts of the festival (full program available on www.leuvenjazz.be). There will be plenty of time to meet the artists and network with colleagues.

Would you like to be invited?
Mail to mik (AT) jazzlab.be and museactasbl (AT) gmail.com, explain your interest in Belgian jazz and why it would be wise of us to invite you :-). We just might have good news for you…
