BEZAU BEATZ is celebrating it’s seventeenth edition from August 8th to 11th in the beautiful village of Bezau in the West-Austrian Alps close to the Lake of Constance, Zürich or Munich.
Alfred Vogel put together a lineup of uprising and already established names and creates another attractive program for which BEZAU BEATZ is famous for: „a wild and wooly musical plunge into the unusual (as NYC Jazz Records Magazine describes Vogel’s musical universe between his work as a drummer, his label Boomslang Records and the festival).
The intimate settings of the festival such as a metal smith´s workshop, a chapel, a hotel lobby as well as the main venue of a vintage steam engine garage or a panorama platform on 1650 m above sea level attract year by year more musiclovers who like the ambient places, nature and gastronomy of the valley called Bregenzerwald. Vogel and his team are very happy that people start to get into that special „BEZAU BEATZ feeling“ where musicians and audience become one big family and celebrate the pleasures of listening and experiencing great music together for a whole weekend.
Another great thing about the festival is, that one can join every concert since there are no parallel shows and there is enough time between shows for enjoying one selves or just having a time out at the cristal clear mountain creek or in the cafés and restaurants of the village, where everything is in walking distance.
