The Festival Bezau Beatz invites openminded musiclovers between 8th and 10 August 2019 to the very western part of Austria, namely to the beautiful valley of the Bregenzerwald in Vorarlberg.
It has been 12 years since the austrian drummer and promoter Alfred Vogel attracts musicians and an audience from all over the planet to his hometown village of Bezau for the collective enjoyment of live music beyond the musical mainstream. Therefore Bezau offers a perfect scenery: Mountains, creeks, farming, worldfamous wooden architecture and a wide range of outstanding restaurants and hotels.
The main venue is the atmospheric garage of an old steam engine train from the last century (which one is also used for a dj ride out on friday nights to the next village before the evening concerts). During day the audience may take a walk or hike to one of the cool side events such as ‘Kaspar's Alter Säge’ (an old saw), ‘The Hut’ in Schönenbach, and the panorama restaurant Baumgarten at 1650m altitude. Artists will also play the newly renovated church in Bezau (with its own church organ) and continue to invite you to join at the ‘Old Crown’ in the middle of the village where one can experience any number of spontaneous sessions or concerts in the pop-up BEZAU BEATZ Cafe - exclusively accessible during the festival, from morning to evening.
With this incredible mix of cultural infrastructure, nature experience, fine dining and hospitality the festival will take you on a musical roller coaster ride. Brace yourself for the dizzying heights, the soaring falls, the rapid curves and the surprise turns that await you at BEZAU BEATZ 2019.
