B:Music are delighted to announce the next full season of the renowned Free Jazz Friday series that takes place every two weeks in the Jennifer Blackwell Performance Space at Symphony Hall, Birmingham.

Continuing the success of last year, the series features many collaborations and takeovers, including some particular highlights involving EJN partners, i-Jazz, who are bringing over the Marco Centasse UmWelt project, Tomorrow’s Warriors and their Warriors Rise initiative, and B:Music’s brand new thread of programming championing a range of roles and representation for Women in Music – She:Music.

“We’re proud to continue the ever-successful Free Jazz Friday series here at B:Music. Championing the next generation of jazz talent, whilst also collaborating with some important partners from across the industry, to bring the very best of the UK, European and International scenes to the Jennifer Blackwell Performance Space at Symphony Hall, Birmingham, UK. Being able to put an entire season out there in one go demonstrates how important this series is to the organisation, and will enable us to forward plan on a longer-term basis into 2026-27 too!”
Chris Proctor, Head of Programme – B:Music

As always, if any EJN partners are interested in collaborating with B:Music as part of the Free Jazz Friday series (or the wider programme), please let Chris Proctor (Head of Programme) know on: chris.proctor (AT) bmusic.co.uk
