Hello and welcome to Brilliant Corners #6. We’re back with another wonderful line-up featuring the very best of jazz and its associated musics.
Belfast’s finest, Blue Whale will kick things off, the inimitable guitarist Jim Mullen performs with The Ronnie Greer Organ Band, we’ve an Irish showcase featuring Joseph Leighton Trio, Sue Rynhart, and The Paul Dunlea Group. Detroit’s son JD Allen visits with his trio, as does Slovenian pianist Kaja Draksler. Brussels based trailblazers Thunderblender will raise the roof, the Elliot Galvin Trio with leave you in awe, you’ll be transported by David Lyttle Trio, rattled by the Brian Irvine Ensemble, and you’ll be fit for nothing after Sons of Kemet.
There’ll be films too, with the Belfast Film Festival once again screening some not to be missed flicks at the Bean Bag Cinema.
