Another event centered around the contemporary jazz scene is the International Jazz in the Park Competition, which will take place between May 1-3, 2020, in Iulius Parc Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Addressed to young jazz bands from across the world, the competition, which is already at its sixth edition, is an instrument to discover fresh talents and to offer them the chance to perform in front of a large audience and to start building up their music career.
This year, the competition will have two sections:
- Open-Air
- Composition (optional)
The bands who are interested in participating need to apply until February 29, 2020, after they make sure they are in conformity with the official rules of the competition. All the information needed can be found on www.jazzinthepark.ro/competition
