The Australian Music Centre - the national service organisation dedicated to the promotion and support of art music in Australia - has announced Catherine Haridy as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Melbourne-based Haridy will take on the role from 1 July 2021. She is an active and influential leader in the Australian music sector with significant experience in artist management, both through her own company and as the Executive Director of the Association of Artists Managers. Named last year as one of the most influential people in Australian music, Haridy is also a current board member of Music Victoria, and a Patron of the Australian Music Prize. Previously she has held board roles with Support Act and the Community Broadcasting Foundation.
