2013 promises to be yet another great year for Estonian jazz artists and Estonian Jazz Union as our concert season continues full throttle. We kick off the proceedings with the Swing’n'Joy Orchestra, January 11th, 10 PM, at Theatre No99 jazz club in Tallinn. Joel Remmel, Sofia Rubina, Tape That, Andre Maaker, Sven Kullerkupp – these are just some of the highlights coming up in January and February.Estonian Jazz Union is currently organizing concerts in 6 different cities in Estonia and also abroad as part of a collaboration between different jazz organizations of our region. In Tartu Estonian Jazz Union is cooperating with the newly-found Tartu Jazz Club. In Pärnu the concerts are taking place at the Endla Theatre Jazz Club, twice a month, on Fridays. In Viljandi, a brand new venue called Podagra Club hosts jazz concerts every week on Tuesdays. In Rakvere, the concerts take place at the Rakvere Theatre Jazz Club, on Fridays. In Tallinn, we are organizing concerts at the Theatre No99 jazz club every Friday night. Estonian Jazz Union concerts occasionally also reach the audiences of Narva and Kuressaare.
