In April Evan Parker celebrates his 80th Birthday with events in London at Cafe Oto and in Birmingham at the Midlands Arts Centre (mac).
In London it's a two day celebration: on Saturday 6th April (evening) Evan will play with the trio of himself, Barry Guy and Paul Lytton and then with Spring Heel Jack.
On Sunday 7th April afternoon he will play with the Mark Sanders Percussion Group (Mark Sanders, Miles Levin, Jim Bashford and Tymek Jozwiak) + John Edwards on bass. In the evening he will play with Trance Map with Matt Wright and many guests + the Alex Schlippenbach Aki Takahase Duo
