We invite you all to the 2024 edition of the Festa do Jazz festival.
This year's edition will take place at the CCB (Lisbon) between the 6th and 8th of December, will have as its premise the sonic mosaic of sound exploration in the Jazz universe, and will feature a program curated by emerging musicians Mariana Dionísio and João Barradas, in an event that it also marks the fifty years of the Carnation Revolution.
This year’s edition include artists like: Wajdi Riahi Trio (TN/BE); Sarab (SY/FR); Liv Andrea Hauge Trio (NO); Andy Sheppard (UK) in duo with Aaron Parks (US); contemporary pianist Joana Sá with greek singer Savina Yannatou, the premiere of a nonet by emerging newcomer portuguese vibraphonist Duarte Ventura; free improv trio Sonic Tender from Lisbon, the outcome of Sons da Lusofonia creative laboratory project Jazzopa, and Ensemble Festa do Jazz led by saxophonist João Mortágua.
