We’re delighted to be launching the next set of performances as part of B:Music’s longstanding Free Jazz Friday series of performances, starting with local musician Ashley Allen & Friends on 4th October 2024 (who just performed at Mostly Jazz Funk and Soul Festival this Summer as a B:Music supported artist), and finishing with Birmingham Jazz Orchestra on 28th March 2025.
We’re also especially proud to be collaborating with Giulia and the i-Jazz team in Italy, to present an EJN collaboration on 22nd November 2024, when we bring Valentina Fin over for a performance of her Cohors project (image above) – fusing jazz, classical and baroque in one encompassing and passionate performance.
Other highlights include collaborations with Celebrating Sanctuary, Fierce Festival and Tomorrow’s Warriors, and on 18th October 2024, we’re especially proud to celebrate the talent within our staff team, when Disco Manifest take to the stage with lead vocals by none other than B:Music’s Katy Minter!!
