With free-for-all performances by 12 new Dutch acts and projects at BIMHUIS (26 June) and our Rotterdam locations LantarenVenster and Club MOOD (27 June): 100% Cottone, FaKruTu Dakar Edition, Femke Mooren Quartet, Giuseppe Doronzo | Andy Moor | Frank Rosaly, Marit van der Lei Nextet, Mark Lotz 'Freshta', NAUSYQA, Ping-En Hung, Ponga, TELEVIZYON, WAAN, and Y.O.P.E.
All artists are featured on the inJazz website. The selection was made from 250 applications by EJN members Marzio Scholten (Jazz International Rotterdam, RAUW), Jermaine Kanbier (BIMHUIS), Maria Rylander (Knutpunkt, Sweden), and Jaïr Tchong (KAAP/Ha!, Belgium).
We have friends from the Nuova Generazione Jazz from Italy joining inJazz festival on 27 June: Wasted Generation, Evita Polidoro NEROVIVO, and Jacopo Ferrazza Wood Tales. Also guesting at inJazz, and presented by Fira B!, is the Andrés Coll Project from the Balearic Islands.
27 June is inJazz conference day, taking place at LantarenVenster in Rotterdam. Tickets via our website - check out the student budget tariff too! We are preparing a day full of networking opportunities, and practical talks and presentations on career building as a composer or performing musician in jazz, world and beyond. On Thursday 27 June, come meet your fellow jazz people from the Netherlands and our guests from abroad, learn about funding, sync, internationalization, music rights and best practices.
