The Belgrade Youth Center (Dom omladine Beograda) continues its tradition of celebrating International Jazz Day, marking the first of many activities leading up to the 41st Belgrade Jazz Festival – Serbia’s oldest and most prestigious international event dedicated to jazz music.
This year’s International Jazz Day concert will feature the highly anticipated new album by Irena Blagojević, a distinguished Serbian jazz, pop, and soul singer – Srebro i zlato (PGP RTS, 2025).
Irena Blagojević is a unique figure on the Serbian music scene. With her mature vocal style and distinct, recognizable tone, she has captivated audiences for years. A graduate flutist, Irena has also established herself as a composer, arranger, and lyricist, with three previous successful albums: Jutro bez ljubavi (2010), Blistavi grad (2016), and Pero (2021). Rooted in the tradition of classic jazz divas, her approach is complemented by a powerful and striking voice, modern melodies, and elements of pop. This distinctive style has earned Irena not only the admiration of jazz enthusiasts but also a broad and diverse fan base.
