Ivan Paduart returns to Ukraine for a Green Pilot Tour

Ivan Paduart Returns to Ukraine: A Concert Tour by Belgian and Ukrainian Musicians Across Four Cities as Part of the International Green Pilot Tour Program

In 2022, Ivan Paduart showed his support for Ukraine by performing three free concerts at the Jazz Bez festival in Lviv, Rivne, and Uman. This year, he is embarking on another tour across Ukraine, traveling by train with guitarist Patrick Deltenre. Together, they are creating an incredible musical collaboration with Ukrainian stars – bassist and composer Igor Zakus and drummer Yaroslav Borys.

Thanks to the collaboration with HA Concerts, the Ukrainian Institute, the MayDayArt jazz venue network, and the music academies of Lviv and Kyiv, this tour will strengthen Ukraine's music scene and serve as a platform for international cooperation.

IVAN PADUART & PATRICK DELTENRE
Ivan Paduart, a passionate and inventive pianist and composer, has spent years playing with legendary Toots Thielemans and performing alongside stars such as Richard Bona, Manu Katché, and Richard Galliano. Patrick Deltenre, the guitarist of Level 42, has worked with most of the prominent French artists of the past 30 years.

For 35 years, Ivan and Patrick have been friends, creating true musical magic – a return to simplicity, to a refined and minimalist form of music.

Joining them:

Igor Zakus
– One of the best jazz bassists in Ukraine, composer, bandleader, and founder of the Jazz Kolo project. He heads the Department of Jazz and Pop Music at the Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music named after Glière. In 2023, he released the album "I'm alive" with musicians Bendik Hofseth, Benoit Sourisse, Claude Egea, Pierre Perchaud, and Andre Charlier.

Yaroslav Borys – Drummer for the National Circus of Ukraine's big band, currently collaborating with artists such as Impressions Jazz Quintet, Alibi, Marta Adamchuk, and Vira Kekelia. He has performed at many international festivals.
