Lithuanian Jazz Union is taking a bold step forward, deepening its connection with the community through education. We are excited to announce a series of new initiatives, including our first-ever Jazz Craft: Summer Session 2025 (August 4-9) — an international jazz and improvisation camp designed to inspire musicians of all levels. Open to participants aged 16 and up, the camp offers an immersive experience in improvisation, ensemble playing, and composition, guided by world-class educators such as saxophonist Seamus Blake (CA), vocalist Ganna Gryniva (UA), pianist Kirke Karja (EE), bassist Kenneth Dahl Knudsen (DK), and drummer Mattia Galeotti (IT). This project is a natural extension of our ongoing Jazz Caravan initiative, where we travel across Lithuania to introduce young people to jazz, its artistic ideas, and its cultural movement. With a growing network of passionate educators and artists, we are committed to fostering a new generation of jazz musicians and strengthening the jazz community, both locally and internationally.
