New umbrella stand Innovation in Music & Crossover Markets
This year, jazzahead! is happening with a hybrid setting and with new accents in the trade fair area and the professional program. Innovations in the music industry and crossover markets are to be given greater consideration in order to support the future viability of the jazz industry through these topics. For participants from these areas of the industry, we have a special offer in the form of a joint stand at the fair.

Don't miss a thing! These deadlines are coming up:
The deadline for registering stands at jazzahead! is 25 March 2022, and registration for co-exhibitors and trade participants closes on 12 April. Registering for umbrella stands brings all the benefits of an exhibitor status without having to plan and run your own stand. After 12 April you can still register on site as a professional participant with an additional charge of 20€ and until 21 April as an online-only registrant.

Networking on- and offline
Together Again - that also means networking: and there will be plenty of opportunities for this both on- and offline at jazzahead! 2022, with new areas within the fair for meetings, talks and matchmaking sessions. Our event platform also enables cantacting those who are only present online, as well as networking even after the fair - because once again we will remain online after the trade fair with all the content from the showcase and professional program.
Technology and innovation in the music industry in the professional program
The visionary pianist and composer Ralf Schmid combines instrumental virtuosity with futuristic electronic sound generation. He plays on two pianos at once with mi.mu data gloves, bringing piano playing into the 21st century. At jazzahead! 2022 he will give a key note on 29 April: Soulful Technology- Exploring tech tools that shape future music playgrounds.
Looking to the future is the common thread of the professional program, from sustainability issues to gender equality to social media marketing and beyond, the conference program at jazzahead! explores the direction of the jazz industry. Soon you will be able to read the entire programme here.
Showcase program with innovations
Brand new: the showcase programme will be presented live on four stages and, for the first time, two concerts will take place at the same time - the jazzahead! showcase festival is waiting with innovations for the return of the professionals. Although these have to make their decision on site which concerts to visit, registered participants can still experience all the showcases after jazzahead! via the event platform.
Just in: We can now admit the public with visitor tickets in addition to those registered for the fair. We have adapted the ticket options to the changed showcase stages.
