Jazzdor, along with the Conservatory and the Higher Academy of Music of Strasbourg-HEAR, present the fifth edition of JAZZLAB, from April 11 to 15, 2023. Master-classes, concerts by both amateur and professional musicians, will take place for a whole week, and hosring the Artistic Exchange Platform meeting of the Europe Jazz Network (EJN), with highlights around the work of saxophonist and composer Sylvain Cathala, with whom we will celebrate the 25th anniversary of PRINT, his historical band.
Another highlight of this JAZZLAB: we will host a focus on Jazz Migration – a flagship program for identifying and supporting emerging musicians led by the AJC network – with the 4 bands that have recently been selected to enter the program. JAZZLAB is a moment of sharing and exchange between educational actions and concerts, open to all ears thirsty for musical adventures and discoveries.
