Music Unlimited from October 17 to 20, 2024, at the Festival of Urbanity in Salzburg
For around 25 years, the Jazz& TheCity festival has transformed Salzburg's city center into an interactive stage for contemporary musical diversity and improvisation with an international flair every autumn. This Is us! is the motto of this vear's four-day festival, running from October 17 to 20. 2024
Once again, it will captivate both national and international artists, music enthusiasts, and strolling city visitors. While jazz is at the heart of this popular public festival, Jazz& TheCity makes it clear with its "music unlimited" concept that a variety of musical and artistic genres and acts will enrich this year's program. In addition to numerous fixed venues, there will be spontaneous performances throughout the unique atmosphere of the historic city center, all with free entry. The festival upholds a high standard of music and diversity, and the energy and vibrancy of internationally renowned live bands, artist formations, and promising newcomers aim to spark the curiosity of first-time festival-visitors and especially Salzburg residents of all generations. Jazz&TheCity is organized by the Alt-stadtverband Salzburg. As in 2023, artist agent and music manager Anastasia Wolkenstein from Re-gensburg is responsible for this year's Jazz&TheCity program.
