Linda Fredriksson is Better Live

Better Live are environmentally friendly, short distanced and smarter planned tours. Nasjonal jazzscene is a proud partner in the Creative Europe project, which in Europe counts of more than a hundred organizations, jazz clubs and organizers. The project launched this year after several years of data collection and research.

The aim is for us and our partners is to gain greater knowledge and awareness, and with this change our habits. Both organizers, venues and the musicians themselves will be facilitated and guided on the way to reducing their climate footprint. Environmentally friendly and better planned journeys are the first step, reduced consumption, reuse and so on are the next.

For us, this means that we will work for greener jazz tours with European jazz musicians in Southern and Eastern Norway. During this coming year, jazz clubs under the umbrella of Sør- og Østnorsk jazz centers will be visited by the Finnish saxophonist Linda Fredriksson Juniper, the fabulous French group Nout and the Spanish pianist Xavi Torres and his trio.
