The Lubljana Jazz Festival will take place between the 1st and 4th of July 2015 in the Slovenian capital city. Over a four-day period, the 56th Ljubljana Jazz Festival, a meber of the European Jazz Network, will present: 19 concerts featuring artists from 19 countries; three world premieres; the guitar, orchestra and Flemish/Belgian focuses; the 75th anniversary of James Blood Ulmer; Jazz Network Board and lively festival meeting points at venues throughout Ljubljana.
Performances during the Festival include: Sly & Robbie meet Nils Petter Molvaer, James Blood Ulmer, Terje Rypdal in Big Band RTV Slovenija, Fire! Orchestra, Diogo Nogueira & Hamilton de Holanda Bossa Negra, Craig Taborn/Mats Gustafsson world premiere, and many others.
