One of our best years so far!
Every two years, music:LX together with Neumünster Abbey, host a two and a half day event focused on showcasing new projects of established Luxembourg jazz artists, exposing them to music professionals from across the globe.
This past November, The Luxembourg Jazz Meeting has seen it’s most successful year to date. We had ten Luxembourgish artists play over a period of two and a half days and for four of the artists, it was their first time playing the Luxembourg Jazz Meeting, including Claire Parsons, David Laborier, Klein and Pol Belardi’s Urban 5. Of the eighty music professionals who came to the event, a great deal of them are now looking to invite the artists to play at their respective jazz festivals. Two independent label representatives from CAM JAZZ (IT) and Cristal Records (FR) came away from the whole experience refreshed; intending to sign a couple of the artists. The whole event was covered on RTL.
