The Moravia Music Fest, a member of the Europe Jazz Network, is taking place this year between the 2nd October and 14 November 2015 in the Czech city of Brno. Highlights of this year include Electro Deluke, the Count Basie orchestra, Anna Maria Jopek quartet with Kurt Elling quintet, Otto Hejnic trio and many others.
International jazz festival runs since 2008, regularly held on Brno venues during October – November. Each year has its own theme (e.g. Big band golden era come back, Jazz through all generations, Jazz architects or Jazz voices – as last year).
Dramaturgy is very colourful and always gives opportunity both to legendary and young musicians, also students starting their career. At the festival they are put into program next to such a great worldwide stars as were in past e.g. Kurt Elling, Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley and many others.
