Musica sulle Bocche - International Jazz Festival – 19th edition
22-25 August Castelsardo (Sardinia)
Castelsardo, an historical castle overlooking the sea of northern Sardinia, will host the 19th edition of "Musica sulle Bocche", the international jazz festival curated by the Jana Project association, from 22 to 25 August. Musica sulle Bocche is one of the most awaited summer events, thanks to a high quality music program and the unique scenarios into which the concerts are situated. This year in the program: the great saxophone player Dave Liebman with the pianist Antonio Faraò, the Icelandic pianist Sunna Gunnlaugs, the jazz flamenco with Antonio Lizana trio, 3G Trio from Brazil, the classic clarinetist Sauro Berti, the refined electronic of Saffronkeira, the blues with Francesco Piu trio, the singing of the “a cuncordu” choir by Castelsardo, the double-bass player Rosa Brunello, Marco Colonna with his clarinets, the Finnish pianist Sid Hille, the sax player Enzo Favata and his Crossing Quartet,
In the same context, from 20 to 30 August, 30 young musicians from Serbia, Albany and Sardinia will gather in Castelsardo for the project "JAIN - Jazz and Interculturalism" cofinanced by the EU program "Creative Europe", in partnership with NIsville Foundation, Syri Blu and Jana Project.
