On 4 March 2026, join the extraordinary Nduduzo Makhathini for a concert at Flagey, Brussels.

Pianist, bandleader, and the first African artist signed to the legendary Blue Note label, Nduduzo Makhathini brings his latest project uNomkhubulwane to Brussels. The album draws inspiration from the Zulu goddess of rain, fertility, and harmony, and continues the South African musician’s exploration of spirituality through sound.

Makhathini’s work stands at the crossroads of improvisation, ritual, and ancestral memory. His concerts feel less like performances and more like shared moments of reflection — music as ceremony.

“What I do is not a performance, but a ritual of surrender and connection.”

For this special evening, he is joined by Lukmil Perez on drums and Dalisu Ndlazi on bass.
