The sixteenth edition of NovaraJazz still brings jazz to the streets, squares, vineyards, museums, parks and courtyards with over 50 events in 3 weeks spread throughout the territory.
NovaraJazz 2019 program features artist residence, national premieres, unique dates in Italy, appointments for children, exhibitions and international collaborations, from 23th of May to 9th of June.
In the year in which Novara will be "European capital of jazz", thanks to Europe Jazz Network and the European Jazz Conference (12-15 September 2019), two important international collaborations characterize NovaraJazz 2019, with France and with Holland.
These are the concerts born in collaboration with La Francia in Scena, the artistic season of the Institut français Italia, organized on the initiative of the French Embassy in Italy, with the support of the Institut français and Nuovi Mecenati Foundation: Matteo Bortone Travelers + 1; Ariel Tessier & Severine Morfin, Three Days Of Forest, No Tongues; Severine Morfin Solo, Ronan Courty Solo, Matthieu Prual and Ronan Prual Duo, Alan Regardin Solo; Actuel Remix, Workshop De Lyon | Trio Impro | The effect vapeur; Jeuselou Du Dimanche and La Marmite Infernale.
These are the concerts supported by Dutch Performing Arts, a program that promotes Dutch music, theater and dance on international stages, supported by the Performing Arts Fund NL: Sanne Huijbregts Solo, Ben Van Gelder and Reiner Baas & Ben Van Gelder.
NovaraJazz is a festival increasingly rooted in its territory, of which it discovers corners and places that are always new and fascinating, but that never misses an opportunity to export its name outside the territorial boundaries.
