As in all over Europe, the Covid-19 restrictions are strict also here in Oslo, Norway. But we are still allowed to gather fantastic musicians on our stage, so that means we ramp up on streaming! For a ticket price of 100 NOK, which is approx. 9£/ 10€/ 12$, we aim to stream high end, Norwegian jazz in real time to people’s homes all around the world.
Next up now is Jonas Cambien Trio, streaming from Victoria Friday 12. February. Originating from Belgium, Cambien moved from a classical background there to jazz piano studies in Oslo and has for more than five years now led a critically acclaimed trio under his own name. While waiting for the bands third album release on the Portuguese label Clean Feed, we can enjoy rhythmically interesting hummable songs and free improvisation performed together with reed player André Roligheten and drummer Andreas Wildhagen. Tickets are found here: https://victoria.ticketco.events/no/nb/e/jonas_cambien_trio_2
Next Friday, February 19, bass player and vocalist Ellen Andrea Wang teams up with long-time collaborator and pianist Andreas Ulvo for an hour of catchy tunes from the whole spectrum of their collective and individual catalogues. Ellen Andrea Wang was first known in the band Pixel where she sang and played the bass, since she has made a name for herself with her own trio and for touring and playing with Manu Katché, Marilyn Mazur and also the fabulous jazz trio GURLS. We can guarantee you an energizing performance! Tickets are found here:

We follow up with live streams from New Dance (Calle Neumann, Ketil Gutvik, Ingebrigt Håker Flaten and Paal Nilssen-Love) Thursday 25. February. Two days later we hear Eberson, a father-and-daughter band with music made by Jon and Marte, two generations of great composers meet to make more great music! We also plan for more, so we hope you stop by our webpage or Facebook for news and info.
