Le Petit Faucheux (Tours), Le Périscope (Lyon), Plages Magnétiques (Brest), Jazz à Poitiers (Poitiers) and Pannonica (Nantes) organize together the tour of The Rempis Percussion Quartet (with Dave Rempis, Ingebrigt Haker Flaten, Tim Daisy and Frank Rosaly)
This combined initiative meets several objectives:
- To impulse encounters between the French public and foreign musicians who are scarce in France
- To mutualize transportation costs
- Rethink touring logics in an eco-responsible approach
- Propose mediation actions around the concerts
- Create a synergy between jazz and improvised music associations
It’s just the beginning but already a good way to work smartly and collectively. This kind of mutual tour should now happen once a year and become a habit between those 5 clubs (and hopefully even more!)
