Reykjavík Jazz takes place on August 23-27, 2023. We invite you to a five day music festival with focus on jazz, blues, fusion and improvised music, performed by musicians from Europe and Iceland. This year will be the 33rd edition of this second oldest music festival in Iceland and the biggest event in Icelandic jazz by far.
In total the number of events at this year’s festival will be more than 20 with a grand total of almost 120 artists performing. The program is very ambitious and varied, covering many of the styles you are likely to find under the broad umbrella of the term JAZZ. You’ll find artists from across the sea, collaboration projects with local and international artists, release concerts for new Icelandic jazz music and a whole lot of other events and concerts.
