New project by double bassist and composer Roberto Bonati, a historic figure in Italian experimentation and artistic director of Parmafrontiere Festival, which explores a new chapter in the research that Bonati has been conducting for thirty years. A synergy with the new generations that has been performing in Italy and abroad for some years.
In the words of the leader, a fitting description of the new project, completed by Luca Perciballi and Gabriele Fava: "A new trio of mine born, in the sign of artistic continuity, together with two special musicians of a younger generation. Old and new compositions that find, in this ensemble, a particular sound, chamber and evocative, between melody and experimentation, in a synthesis of multiple traditions and languages from jazz to folk, to contemporary art. A deep lyricism, with the flavor of the earth, combined with the sense of improvisational adventure."
