Three Danish names are on the lineup when the Sounds of Denmark festival returns to England in both London and Southampton in March. In London, the legendary Pizza Express Jazz Club will once again host both concerts and a reception, while the large regional venue Turner Sims will house the concert in Southampton. The program ranges from cinematic trombone-led jazz with Lis Wessberg's 'Yellow Map' to danceable and soulful jazztronica with Abekejser and Karmen Rõivassepp. It also features two true piano maestros who come together in a unique duo concert when Carsten Dahl and Nikolaj Hess take the stage as part of the Steinway 2-Piano Festival.
