Le Temps Machine and Le Petit Faucheux present the 11th edition of the Super Flux festival, a concentrate of surprising music, in partnership with the TALM Tours School of Art and Design. From April 5th to 7th, 2024 in Tours and its surroundings.
Let's put the sonic experience back at the heart of our lives. Let's set aside our habits to explore adventurous and unclassifiable music in the company of artists who cultivate nonconformity.
For this new edition of Super Flux, hybridizations between arts and disciplines are at the heart of the programming. The 12 projects we wanted to highlight this year present singular scenic devices and invite the audience to a different relationship with the works, spaces, and sounds. Contemporary dance, video, installations, and visual arts will joyfully mingle with improvised, noise, DIY, electro, or experimental music, making Super Flux a unique sensory experience.
To mark its entry into a new decade, this 11th edition of Super Flux changes its format. We wanted to gather a large number of proposals in a single location which, in itself, embodies the festival's DNA, like a creative, vibrant hive open to all. The TALM Tours School of Art and Design appeared to us as the ideal setting for these artistic performances, especially since the Bow Wow Wow Haus and ISS projects involve students from TALM Tours and Le Mans. The school's hall will host the shows on Saturday and Sunday.
Le Temps Machine and Le Petit Faucheux, the two Touraine Contemporary Music Venues behind the festival, will also be part of it to welcome spectators to performances with unprecedented sound experiences on Friday evening and Saturday morning (for young audiences).
