Trondheim Jazz Festival - known as Jazzfest - will take place 3 - 12 May 2016. Featuring both established and up-and-coming Norwegian and international stars and talents. The festival is built around the exciting jazz scene in Trondheim and the world renowned jazz study programme at Norway’s largest university - NTNU.
The programme will include:

- new commition works of Ola Kvernberg, Jan Magne Førde and Mats Eilertsen. Mats Eilertsen Trio for the first time together with Trio Mediæval
- Dee Dee Bridgewater, special guest with Knut Lauritzen Bigband
- Marius Neset Quintet with Svante Henryson
- Solveig Slettahjell, Knut Reiersrud & In The Country
