February sees two fantastic jazz artists return to Turner Sims Southampton. BBC Jazz Award winning saxophonist Julian Siegel celebrates his album Tales from the Jacquard on February 9th, with a handpicked, big band line-up featuring some of Julian’s favourite musicians from the UK and European scenes. Nominated for the 2022 Mercury Prize, Glaswegian pianist and composer Fergus McCreadie performs with his trio on February 14th. One of the most exciting young talents on the UK jazz scene, his music is an innovative blend of jazz and Scottish traditional music, taking the listener on an auditory journey of Scotland. Tonight he presents music from his beautiful new album Forest Floor.
