The music of the Wrocław quartet Błoto [Mud] is firmly rooted in brutal hip-hop foundations, dirty and uncompromising, and its strength lies in drums and bass. The artists, cultivating the memory and work of the innovator J Dill, will reinterpret the master’s beats during a concert on 25 February. Then they will return on 26 March with a larger lineup and as EABS will play Tomasz Stańko’s Purple Sun. In the second part of the concert, Maciej Obara Quartet will appear and present songs from their latest album, which is to be released on the ECM label.
