Jazz vocalists and saxophonists are welcome to apply for the International Jazz Artist contest “Riga Jazz Stage 2014”. Contest will take place in Riga, Latvia, from April 3-5.
“Riga Jazz Stage” is an International jazz artist contest which provides opportunity for jazz artists to prove themselves in jazz music, gain stage experience as well as to present themselves internationally. RJS 2014 contest will be held in two categories – “Vocal” and “Saxophone”.
Performances of the contestants will be evaluated by international jury of musicians, producers and directors of the festivals and concert venues.
Prizes in amount of more than EUR 6000 and concert engagements at the major jazz festivals are provided for the laureates.
Deadline for the application - January 31st, 2014.
