WOMEX has opened its 2016 Call for Proposals. You can now apply to perform as a showcase artist or DJ, present your film or spread your knowledge in a conference session. Come and participate as a part of the programme of WOMEX 16 in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain, 19-23 October 2016.
Connect with 2.500 music professionals from 90 countries and share your jazz projects and ideas. For the hands-on conference sessions, WOMEX especially seeks trends in technology as well as music’s role in cultural identity for the next generations. The film programme will be selected from feature, middle-length and short entries, visualising music, movement and history. WOMEX Showcases and DJ-Cases reach out to many and varied global music circles, expressly including jazz styles.
