You are warmly welcome to the grand opening party of G Livelab Tampere on Tuesday the 22nd of October, day before the Womex opening. The opening night of G Livelab includes two fantastic Finnish jazz groups, Mopo and Herd, both celebrating their 10th anniversary this year.
G Livelab offers a new kind of live music experience built on quality programming, state of the art audio facilities and modern design. At G Livelab you’ll experience performances by top artists from Finland and abroad in the best possible setting – whether enjoying the delicate sounds of a string quartet, the loud guitars of a rock band or anything in between.
Situated in a historical red brick building in the heart of the city, G Livelab Tampere will open its doors to the public in summer 2019. Designed according to a music first philosophy, it is the newest venue under the G Livelab brand. The first one was founded in Helsinki in 2016 and has quickly become the go-to venue for music lovers and artists alike. The owner of the G Livelab is the Finnish Musicians' Union.
