Minyo Crusaders rework traditional Japanese folk songs (Minyo) with Latin, African and Caribbean rhythms to create some of the most infectious music between South America and Japan. The punchy and inventive arrangements of this big band breathe new life into these traditional working-class folk songs. Their debut album "Echoes of Japan” was released in April 2019 and the band have already made waves picking up fans across the globe. Watch out for their premiere European tour this November hitting some of the most superb festival stages such as Überjazz, Le Guess Who, Oslo World and even Transmusicales.
